Every ticket is one entry in the contest running now. Nothing is for sale, so nobody can buy a bigger share.

One winner, drawn

About every 30 days a contest closes and one winner is drawn at random, weighted by tickets. The result is published with its proof.

When a contest closes, the hash of a secret seed is recorded before the winner is picked, and the seed is published after the draw, so anyone can re-run it.
